My Foreign Worker attempt to commit suicide, resulting in large medical bills. Can I refuse to pay for them?

Basing on the legislation as laid by MOM, it seems that we still have to cover medical bills for self-inflicted related medical costs. You can refer to a similar FAQ under my blog as well at:
HR YAM – Reimbursement of Medical Costs for Foreign Employees

Nevertheless, before paying for the medical bills, I would suggest we give MOM a call to exempt for this case, as personally, I felt that since its self-inflicted, employers shouldn’t be held liable.
