My employer told me that I will be entitled to Leave Benefits once I am confirmed in Service. Is this true?

If you are covered under Part IV of the Employment Act, as long as you have completed 3 months of service, you will be entitled to your leave benefits as stipulated by legislation (e.g. Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Childcare Leave, etc.)
